TIDES by Batyrbek Surkhaev

TIDES

Summary: The video that was created is about our planets tides. There are 2 types of tides: neap and springSpring tides happen when the sun and moon form a straight line with the Earth. When this happens, oceans on earth reach two highest points and two lowest points. Also spring tides happens during full and new moon phases. Neap tides happens when the sun and moon form a 90° angle with the Earth. When this happens, sea level on earth are around the same height. And neap tide happens during the first and third quarters. There is also some information about the Earth and it's movement. Tides happen because our planet moves.

Critical thinking answers:

1) Earth motion can affect people's mood and overall feelings. When our planet moves, the life moves on with it. We have a day and a night, sun and clouds, rain and snow. That happens because Earth's motion. Our planet gets a sunlight because it moves, and plants live because of the sunlight, and we live because of the plants and trees. Tides happen because of Earth's movement. Moon revolves around the Earth and makes water and sea level change.

2) One example is tides. The tides are periodic rising and falling of the oceans each day. They are cause by the gravity of the Moon and Sun on the oceans. Another example is the Moon's phases like New Moon and Full Moon. New Moon happens when Moon blocks the Sun and does not allow the sunlight to get straight to Earth. From Earth it looks like a big darker Sun. Full Moon happens when Earth stands between Moon and Sun. This means that the hemisphere of the Moon that is facing Earth is almost fully illuminated.

3) Earth revolves on the Sun's orbit and Moon revolves on the Earth's orbit. They work in tandem and they give our planet and us power to live.

4) Movements of Sun and Moon give a lot to Earth. Tides happen because of the Sun's and Moon's movement. Their movement change our sea and water level every day.
